Direct contact through text, call, or email during care! Two prenatal meetings, each lasting about two hours. We'll discuss topics related to birth, labor, and postpartum. We'll create a birth plan or birth preference guide, talk about evidence-based care, different scenarios, and practice comfort measures. From 37 weeks, I'll be available for your labor. I'll provide support over the phone until it's time for me to join you. Once there, I'll stay with you until your baby is born and you feel comfortable. Afterward, I'll keep in touch and schedule an in-person visit for the postpartum period. During the visit, I'll ask about your birth experience, help with breastfeeding, assist with light tasks, and ensure your family is adjusting well.

If I served as your birth doula, we'll jump right into scheduling a date and time that works best for you. If you're new to Grayce Eubanks Doula Services, we will set up a free virtual meeting that lasts about 30 minutes to 1 hour. During this meeting, we can chat, get to know each other better, and determine if we are a good fit. If you decide to hire me, we'll pick a date and time for me to come to your home and provide practical assistance tailored to your specific needs. Whether it's talking through your birth experience, helping with childcare, assisting with breastfeeding and pumping, or even preparing meals, I'll be there to support you through the delicate and beautiful postpartum period.

The Birth Circle is a beautiful opportunity for pregnant and postpartum mothers to share their experiences. In this nurturing space, you can freely share your birth stories without fear of judgment. To foster a deeper understanding of labor and birth, each Birth Circle is kick started with evidence based information, serving as a guide for discussions. This provides valuable insight and keeps everyone engaged as they seek a level of care that is nothing short of exceptional. Mark your calendars for the last Wednesday of each month and join us at the Carol Jo Vecchie Women & Children’s Center at the St Johns Hospital in Springfield, Illinois from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. Register to attend at hshs.org/st-johns/classes-events/birth-circle

Perinatal mood and anxiety disorders are becoming more common. Every 8 weeks I am able to speak on this subject at the HSHS First Steps Mother and Baby Support Group, which is hosted at the HSHS Women’s and Children’s Clinic each Wednesday at noon. During this presentation I shed light on risk factors as well as signs and symptoms. Following that education I discuss practical measures and ideas for mothers dealing with PMADS. I always stick around after the group meeting ends to answer any questions.
